Rufaro Youth Conference 2012.

This photo was taken at Rufaro. Such dances are expected at the Youth Conferences on the Pulpit. What do you think? Is it not right to dance for The Lord? When does it become unacceptable in your view?

  1. So long its done for his glory lets dance till morning! But if it is mere entertainment, puma! I know if its announced that the there is no gala at night or that its time up (usually midnight) youths go mad. the other year there was almost a riot!..are we not taking the world into the church.... Bottom line is if people are singing and dancing for the lord (especially the prayerful), the impact is amazing!

  2. We should dance for the Lord. Unfortunately not all dancing we see in church is unto the Lord. If God is spirit then our dancing should be in Spirit not stemming from flesh. Its not the energy that most spirit filled people will find disturbing, it is the inappropriate moves on stage especially of sexual nature. What I fail to understand is some of these youths who dance supposedly for God with all their might, tend to yawn or disappear altogether when it is worship or preaching time
